Initial Certification Grant for Residents
The grant will award up to $1,400 for exam fees and travel expenses to residents who don’t have complete funding support from their program to be used for the AOBFP exam.

In-Service Exam (ISE) Support
Supports residents pursuing the osteopathic pathway to Family Medicine board Certification by funding two Osteopathic In-Service Exams (ISE)

Natural Disaster
The ACOFP Foundation’s Natural and Personal Disaster Fund was developed to assist members in resupplying their practices in the event of a natural or personal disaster.

OMT Certification Grant for Practicing Physicians
Physicians who completed initial certification within the last 10 years and who did not take the practical exam are eligible for up to $900 in funding to complete the OMT portion of the exam. These funds will cover exam fees and up to $500 in travel costs.

Namey/Burnett Preventive Medicine Writing Award
This award supports and rewards the work of developing medical writers. This fund honors the memories of Joseph J. Namey, DO, FACOFP and John H. Burnett, DO, FACOFP, who were dedicated advocates for osteopathic family medicine.
Recipients: Family medicine residents and students
- 1st Place: $2,000
- 2nd Place: $1,000
- 3rd Place: $500
The top 3 articles will also go through the peer review process for Osteopathic Family Physician, ACOFP's peer-reviewed journal, and be considered for publication.

Sander A. Kushner, DO, FACOFP Memorial Osteopathic Family Medicine Resident Award
This award is a prestigious recognition offered by the ACOFP Foundation and the Kushner family to osteopathic residents who are pursuing excellence in the field of family medicine.
