Osteopathic International Medicine Education Fund

The purpose of this fund is to provide educational opportunities to family medicine students, residents, and family physicians who have an interest in learning about volunteer opportunities and/or knowledge sharing about osteopathic family medicine outside the United States. 

Please note: if you intend to provide CME for your educational opportunity, you will need to submit a session proposal via ACOFP’s call for content.

Eligibility Requirements

Funding may be provided for the following activities:

  • Education sessions aligned with one of ACOFP’s conferences or through the ACOFP eLearning offerings. Support for these may include: 
    • Speaker travel and accommodation (Based on ACOFP’s travel policy) 
    • Speaker honorarium (Based upon ACOFP’s policy) 
    • A/V 
    • Room fees 
    • Food and beverage associated with session 
  • Grant funds must be used exclusively for activities and projects that take place within the United States.* 
    • *ACOFP eLearning programs qualify, even if there are international participants who login.  
  • Funds may also be used to help ACOFP explore ways to disseminate osteopathic family medicine content internationally.
