Biography & Education


Kevin de Regnier, DO, FACOFP, dist. has served on the Foundation Board since 2016.  He is a Past President of the ACOFP serving in that role from March 2015 to 2016. 

Dr. de Regnier owned and operated his own practice for more than 37 years before transitioning to being an employed physician in a rural health clinic.  He has served on many state and national committees and is currently a member of the AOA Board of Trustees.

Dr. de Regnier was the of Osteopathic Family Physicians, 2019 Family Physician of the Year, and was recognized with the ACOFP Excellence in Advocacy award in 2020 and the Distinguished Service award in 2023.

He currently serves on the Iowa Physician Assistant licensure board.  He is an Elder and serves on the Board of his local church and is Chair of the of Health.
