Emily Bennett is the Director of Communications & Engagement at the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians (ACOFP) and has been serving in this role since January of 2023.  

Emily has nearly 20 years of professional communications and marketing experience working in a variety of industries and professional settings. Before her association career, Emily worked for almost a decade on the Walgreens Wellness Tour with AARP and the National Urban League, a fleet of ten motor coaches that administered over one million free health screenings across the United States and Puerto Rico.  

Emily is an active volunteer for the Association Forum, currently as the Co-Chair for the 2026 Honors Gala Program Advisory Group. Emily also has previous experience as the Marketing Committee Chair for the (now sunset) Illinois Alliance for Continuing Medical Education (IACME) and Membership Committee Member for the Chicago Loop Alliance. She has also been an active member of the Magnificent Mile Association, Chicago Cultural Mile Association, and Choose Chicago Ambassador.
